CATHOLIC WOMEN’S LEADERSHIP
DEVELOPMENT PROJECT  (CWLD)

The CWLD Project launched this year is well under way.  The project, aimed at linking women with the resources they need to develop their leadership skills is available through workshops, scholarships and mentoring. Two successful workshops have been held this year: the first in the Broken Bay Diocese with Beth Gilligan as Presenter and the second in the Wollongong diocese with Maureen Cleary as Presenter.   Both were well attended and there was excellent interaction between the Participants and the Presenters as they exchanged thoughts and ideas on the challenges they were faced with and gave everyone much content to ponder and implement in their leadership skills going forward.

Two further workshops will be held in 2008.

The first entitled “Leading Your Family to Health and Wellbeing”.
Parramatta Diocese
Saturday 8th March, 9.30am-12.30pm

The second workshop: “Women Leading International Development”
