Friday September 19th  - Sunday September 21st
at St. Patrick’s College Launceston

Registrations are from 1.00pm on Friday September 19th  and the Conference will begin at 2.00 pm with a  Reflection led by Sister Valerie Burns.

The Official Opening (by Rev. Father M. Delaney) on Friday at 7.30pm will be followed by the Opening of the Handcraft Exhibition and Supper.

Our Tasmanian President Mrs Bernice McKenna writes in the August REVIEW:   “This promises to be a very interesting and exciting  conference.   The National President,  Mrs Karyn Kammann,  will tell us about the national scene,  and the WUCWO Vice-President and editor of “Women’s Voice”,  Mrs Brenda Finlayson, will be the Keynote speaker.  She will have many interesting  stories to tell of her experiences at International level, including those at the  Vatican and United Nations.  We also hope to have some of the pilgrims  to WYD 2008 recalling the highlights of their journey.”

On Saturday 20th at 6.00 pm, Mass will be celebrated by the Most Rev. Adrian L.Doyle, Archbishop of Hobart,  who will also attend the Conference Dinner which follows.
In conjunction with this Conference, the Annual General Meeting of the State Council  of CWL TAS Inc. will be held at 4.00pm on Friday, 19th September 2008, at St.Patrick’s College.   All reports will be included in the Conference Book which can be ordered through Branch presidents or from the Northern Vice-President,  Mrs Pauline Heazlewood, 56 David Street Newstead 7250.
