The WYD Youth Festival features music, performing arts, visual art exhibitions, debate, film, community gatherings, street performers, workshops and a Vocations Expo. Youth Festival events will take place in the afternoons and evenings at venues across the city from Tuesday 15 July to Friday 19 July 2008. CWLA has sponsored Donald Macdonald a wonderful, creative and versatile performer.
The Vocations Expo based at Darling Harbour, Sydney during WYD will have multiple booths representing a variety of Catholic vocational avenues including a booth for CWLA.
The CWLA booth will be a visual montage of presentations, posters, members in discussion and take away material.
The PPSP is an integral part of WYD. Many people internal and external to Australia require financial assistance to attend WYD. CWLA-NSW has provided assistance to the Wilcannia Forbes Diocese and to groups in PNG.
